Training routes

We have selected few local road routes to help you practice before Transfăgărășan Challenge.
FROM EASY ROUTES TO DIFFICULT CLIMBS, THESE WILL HELP YOU GET PREPARED FOR THE TRANSFĂGĂRĂȘAN CHALLENGE.
SOME ROUTES ARE ALSO PART OF THE STAGES WITHIN THE SIBIU CYCLING TOUR. 

The Păltiniș Challenge aims to offer cyclist enthusiasts the chance to enjoy a great amateur race while giving the feeling of a professional competition. The competition is scheduled to take place within the Sibiu Cycling Tour, as a pre-race before the professional competition. The first edition took place in 2023 and was born out of the desire and passion of a small group of people, who wanted to create an amateur cycling competition that they could turn into a tradition.
