The second edition took place on 4 July 2022. The Transfăgărășan Challenge was born out of the desire and passion of a small group of people who wanted to create a competition for amateurs on the Transfăgărășan road and turn it into a tradition. The idea quickly took shape from a simple thought and we managed to have a really successful second event with a number of 500 participants and great interest from cycling enthusiasts.
