2nd edition of

Paltinis Challenge!

PĂLTINIȘ CHALLENGE is an exciting event, for passionate riders, within the Sibiu Cycling Tour,
a pre-race before the pros’ competition.

The challenge is at its 2nd edition and it will take place on the 6th of July 2024 on a road route between Sibiu and Păltiniș

the concept

The Păltiniș Challenge is a new cycling competition for cycling enthusiasts, both women and men (over 17). The competition will have a route that will cover a distance of 27km with an elevation of 936m between Sibiu and Păltiniș. The Păltiniș Challenge will take place within the Sibiu Cycling Tour, as a pre-race prior to the professional stage on that day.

The Păltiniș Challenge aims to offer cyclist enthusiasts the chance to enjoy a great amateur race while giving the feeling of a professional competition. The competition is scheduled to take place within the Sibiu Cycling Tour, as a pre-race before the professional competition. The first edition took place in 2023 and was born out of the desire and passion of a small group of people, who wanted to create an amateur cycling competition that they could turn into a tradition.
